Margie Wager

KPS is pleased to announce that Margie Wager has joined the team at KPS Insurance Services, Inc.   Margie will be a strong asset to the KPS team and be responsible for the day to day needs of the clients she manages while serving as a back-up to the clients our other team members manage.

Margie graduated with honors from Fullerton College with a degree in Business Administration.  She is also a certified graduate of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers School.  Margie holds the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.

Margie began her career in the surety industry in 1977 and during her many years in the surety industry, has worked for several diverse national companies, including United States Fidelity and Guaranty Companies (USF&G), Industrial Indemnity and St. Paul Companies.

In 2001 Margie moved from Orange County to San Diego, and joined a regional brokerage as its Senior Account Manager for surety underwriting .   At departure she was the Surety Department Manager and was responsible for developing and maintaining all client relationships while facilitating their day to day and long term surety needs.

She is currently pursuing her Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bond (AFSB) designation.  Margie is a member and involved in various professional affiliations, such as the Surety Association of San Diego (SASD), Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Associated General Contractors (AGC), Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and Engineering General Contractors Association (EGCA).
